- My works have been autobiographical in character and the process of painting is a kind of nostalgic journey of the mind. Although my paintings are very personal, can be called a series of self portraits, yet they are not private. I never formally plan my work in advance. I like using illusion of space the painting surface allows... constructing this space like a stage set. Whatever I produce is inspired by my experiences and surroundings. I have no particular philosophy. I do not care much for dogmas, disciplines, school of thoughts, fashion or style. A painting is either good, bad or indifferent; its label is of no consequence at all.I am basically a happy person and have great love of life . To me art is an expression of life and every time that I include an expression of life in painting, I produce art.
